Success Story – Oct – Mrs. Welch
Mrs. Welch came to Mira Vista after a ground level fall at home resulting in a fracture to her spine.
At admission, Mrs. Welch required maximum assistance from caregivers to perform bed mobility, all activities of daily living, and transfers.
Today, Mrs. Welch was able to complete her activities of daily living, transfers with a rolling walker with supervision, and walking with a rolling walker 250 feet with stand-by assist.
Mrs. Welch is preparing to discharge home with family.
