“Great job, Ms. Post!”

Ms. Post came to Mira Vista following a fall at home that resulted in a pelvis fracture. Upon evaluation, Ms. Post relied on facility staff for transfers, repositioning, and all daily living tasks, as she was limited with her walking due to pain.

Driven by her determination to regain her independence.  Ms. Post engaged in her rehabilitation journey, working closely with the facility dedicated physicians, nursing, and therapy teams on a custom treatment plan.

We are excited to share that Ms. Post’s hard work paid off.  She has regained her mobility and is experiencing little to no pain.  She is now walking over 300 feet with a rolling walker, performing transfers without assistance, and is completing all activities of daily living.

Ms. Post has successfully returned to her independent living apartment.
