“Keep up the good work, Ms. Baker!”

Ms. Baker came to Mira Vista following surgical repair to her left shoulder. Upon admission, Ms. Baker relied on facility staff for repositioning, transfers, and all activities of daily living due to her restrictions in weight bearing restrictions to her left arm.  

The exceptional nursing and therapy team at Mira Vista collectively worked together to develop a personalized treatment plan to address pain, weakness, balance, and provide strategies for achieving independence despite her restrictions to her left arm.

We are thrilled to report, Ms. Baker is now on the path to returning home. She is now walking 100 feet using a hemi walker and is performing daily activities with some assistance from caregivers.
