“Best of luck to you Mr. Garcia!”

 Arturo Garcia came to Mira Vista after a hospitalization to address an infection in his foot that progressed to an amputation of his toes. 

At admission, Arturo was unable to bear weight on his foot making transfers and walking difficult.

The amazing therapy team at Mira Vista created a custom plan to get Arturo back to his prior level of independence.  Today, he is walking with a rollator and performing transfers without assistance.

We are excited to report, Arturo is working towards returning home with family.
